Compare to renting a bicycle, using public transportations cost more.
It is however strongly recommended for students to commute by public transportations when it is bad weather.
Route 1
- Walk from international house to Kotoden Yashima Train Station.
- Take Shido line and alight at Kawaramachi Station. (approx.15min.)
- From Kawaramachi Station, change line to Kotohira line and take train to Fuseishi Station.
- At Fuseishi Station, catch bus service named bus-and-rail-ride to the engineering campus. You must press the button when your hear announce saying “Kagawa Daigaku Souzou Kougakubu Mae” (this means front of the engineering campus)
Total fare for one way is JPY 450. Using IruCa card gives discounts.

Route 2
- Walk from international house to Kotoden Yashima Train Station.
- Take Shido line and alight at Kawaramachi Station. (approx.15min.)
- At Kawaramachi Station, exit train station and move to bus interchange area. Catch Kotoden bus service No. 65 from bus stop No.2.
- Bus No.65 stops in front of the engineering campus. You must press the button when your hear announce saying “Kagawa Daigaku Kougakubu Mae” (this means front of the engineering campus).
