Scholarships
This is a list of the major scholarships for privately financed international students. Scholarships are granted based on the student’s academic record and financial situation. Some scholarships require diplomas, and academic transcripts from your university. Your faculty or graduate school can provide you with more information on how to apply.
Japanese Government Scholarship
Prospective international students may choose to first apply for a Japanese government scholarship through the Japanese embassy in their respective countries prior to arrival in Japan. This is a long process and competition is keen. For more information, check with the Japanese Embassy in your country for dates.

Kagawa University International Foundation has several scholarships?(¥30,000 or ¥48,000 monthly for about fifteen students)? while a range of scholarships are offered by private foundations. Students however, need to be proficient in the Japanese language to stand a chance at winning a scholarship.
